WHITTIER --- Making its return to the field for the first time since 2020, Rio Hondo College opened up the 2022 season in impressive fashion by earning a doubleheader sweep of visiting San Bernardino Valley College on Friday afternoon. The Roadrunners needed just five innings to take the opener 9-1 and closed out the day with a 7-4 victory.

The sophomore duo leads a list of nine outstanding Rio Hondo student-athletes for the 2019-20 season.
