Following the close of the 2022 Rio Hondo College softball season, three members of the Roadrunners received All-South Coast Conference postseason awards.

WHITTIER – The 2022 Rio Hondo College softball season wrapped up on Wednesday with a narrow 1-0 South Coast Conference loss to visiting Cerritos College at home.

CHULA VISTA – Rio Hondo College totaled 17 runs and 23 hits over two games to sweep a non-conference doubleheader at Southwestern College on Saturday.

VALLEY GLEN --- Kaylie Cervantes drove in a pair of runs while Ashley Bravo had three hits to help lead Rio Hondo College to a 5-1 victory at Los Angeles Valley College on Monday.

WHITTIER --- Rio Hondo College was one out away from defeating perennial state power Mt. San Antonio College but with their backs to the wall, the Mounties rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh to hand the Roadrunners a tough 4-3 loss in a South Coast Conference game on Tuesday.

WHITTIER --- Making its return to the field for the first time since 2020, Rio Hondo College opened up the 2022 season in impressive fashion by earning a doubleheader sweep of visiting San Bernardino Valley College on Friday afternoon. The Roadrunners needed just five innings to take the opener 9-1 and closed out the day with a 7-4 victory.
