Rio Hondo has three named All-South Coast Conference

Following the close of the 2025 regular season, three members of the Rio Hondo College softball team received All-South Coast Conference postseason awards.

Second-team All-SCC honors went to sophomore pitcher/outfielder Alexia Mayorga. She had an impressive .414 batting average for the season with 10 doubles and 15 RBI. She was also the Roadrunners' top pitcher, appearing in 35 of their 38 games.

Named All-SCC honorable mention were freshman shortstop Gisselle Ramirez-Huerta and freshman catcher Natalie Sosa.

The Rio Hondo softball team made its return after a one-year hiatus and closed a tough 2025 season with a 3-35 overall record and 1-23 South Coast Conference mark.
