The Rio Hondo College women’s volleyball team put up a fight but couldn’t get past No. 3 state-ranked Pasadena City College. On Wednesday, the Roadrunners stretched the Lancers to four sets before falling by scores of 25-8, 25-19, 27-29, 20-25 in Pasadena.

On Friday, the Roadrunners extended No. 7 state-ranked Santa Barbara City College to five sets, ultimately falling by scores of 25-10, 24-26, 25-20, 25-27, 15-5.
