SANTA BARBARA – The Rio Hondo College women's soccer team put an end to a six-game losing streak thanks to a 1-1 tie at Santa Barbara City College on Friday afternoon.
Clarissa Gamboa scored the Roadrunners' lone goal in the contest off the assist from Brianna Sanchez. Isabel Maldonado was solid in goal for Rio Hondo, posting 4 saves.
Rio Hondo moved its overall record to 1-6-1. The Roadrunners are back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 1) at 6 p.m. when they host Los Angeles Harbor College.
