Rio Hondo College freshman Danielle Moore scored a pair of goals to lead the Roadrunners in a 4-0 non-conference win at Fullerton College on Tuesday. Rio Hondo continued its unbeaten start to the season and is now 2-0-1 overall while Fullerton fell to 2-1.
Lismed Salcido and Zharria Ramirez also scored goals for the Roadrunners while Victoria Galindo, Hailee Morales, Jacqueline Gonzalez, and Viviana Ramirez all were credited with assists.
Izella Delgadillo posted her second shutout in three games. She totaled three saves in goal for Rio Hondo.
The Roadrunners will look to continue their impressive early-season run and return home on Friday (Sept. 7) to face Orange Coast College in a 3 p.m. non-conference game.
