Roadrunners finish fourth at Lemoore Invitational
LEMOORE – Led by five top-10 finishes, Rio Hondo College totaled 103.5 team points to finish in fourth place out of 21 schools at the 2024 Lemoore College Invitational.
The Lemoore Invitational is recognized as one of the largest tournaments in the state. The event was held at Golden Eagle Arena in Lemoore, site of this year's 3C2A State Championships.
Matthew York (165 pounds) and Jaremiah Juarez (197) led the Roadrunners with third-place individual finishes. Finn Long (133) and Bobby Ramirez (184) were fifth, while Steven Ceja (174) brought home seventh place.
Up next, the Roadrunners will compete on Wednesday (Oct. 2) in a pair of dual matches at East Los Angeles College. Rio Hondo will face host East LA and Moorpark College, beginning at 5 p.m.
