Rio Hondo College couldn't get much going offensively as the Roadrunners lost both games of a non-conference doubleheader at Southwestern College on Saturday. Rio Hondo opened with a 9-0, five-inning loss to the Jaguars and closed the day with a 5-0 defeat. The Roadrunners fell to 12-22 overall.

Southwestern pitcher Yasmine Jameson held Rio Hondo to just four hits over both games. The Roadrunners managed just one hit in the five-inning contest and had a little more success with three hits in the second game.

Rio Hondo looks to bounce back from the losses when the Roadrunner return to Foothill Conference play on Wednesday (Apr. 13) at Victor Valley College.
