After losing just one of its first 15 games, the Rio Hondo College men's soccer team has hit a bump in the road. On Wednesday, the No. 18 nationally-ranked Roadrunners suffered their second straight loss, this time a 3-0 defeat by visiting Compton College.

The South Coast Conference interdivision loss dropped Rio Hondo to 9-3-5 overall. The Roadrunners had a six-game unbeaten streak snapped on Friday after falling to Long Beach by a final score of 3-1.

Compton led 1-0 at halftime and secured its win with a pair of second-half goals.

Rio Hondo will look to get back on track when the Roadrunners return to SCC North Division play on Friday (Oct. 26). They will host East Los Angeles College in a 6 p.m. match.
