Tate named to All-SCC North Division team

Following the close of the 2024-25 regular season, Rio Hondo College men's basketball standout Dorian Tate received All-South Coast Conference North Division Honorable Mention postseason honors.

Tate, a freshman wing from St. Paul High School, led the Roadrunners in scoring and rebounding by averaging 19.7 points and 12.8 boards per game. His 12.8 rebounds also led the South Coast Conference while his 19.7 points ranked fourth in the conference.

Tate put up back-to-back 30+ points games in December, pouring in 33 points against Orange Coast, followed by a 31-point effort against Canyons. He scored at least 20 points in 11 contests this season.
