Jonathan Martinez totaled a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 91-76 loss at No. 15 state-ranked Los Angeles Trade Tech College in a South Coast Conference North Division game on Friday.

Rio Hondo led early and was all tied up at 24 with seven minutes to play in the first half. But Trade Tech outscored the Roadrunners 16-4 the rest of the way to take a 40-28 lead into the break. With just one sub, Rio Hondo couldn't keep up with a deep Trade Tech bench in the second.

Martinez continues to put up good numbers for Rio Hondo this season. He has scored in double figures in 18 straight games and has failed to score 11 points or more in just one contest this season.

Uziel Felix added 22 points, Bryant Howing had 14 points and 6 assists while Elijah McElroy totaled 11 points and 9 rebounds.

Rio Hondo fell to 3-17 overall and 0-2 in SCC North play. The Roadrunners will look to snap a nine-game losing streak on Wednesday (Jan. 30) when they host Chaffey in a SCC North Division game.
