LEMOORE – Led by three individual finishes among the top-6, Rio Hondo College totaled 45 points to finish in 11th place out of 20 teams at the 2022 Golden Eagle Invitational at West Hills College Lemoore on Saturday.
Dylan Atherton led the way at 125 pounds by finishing in third place. At 285 pounds, Emitt Mercardo took fourth place. And rounding out the top showing for the Roadrunners was Alexis Tellez in sixth place at 133-pound weight class.
Rio Hondo is back in action next Saturday (Oct. 1) when the Roadrunners compete at the Santa Ana College Tournament.
