TORRANCE – Jaden Hill-Massarotti scored a season-high 22 points to help lead Rio Hondo College to a 51-43 win at El Camino College on Friday.
With the victory, the Roadrunners moved to 4-4 overall. Rio Hondo has won three of its last four games.
A 6-0 run by Rio Hondo late in the fourth quarter, including a big three-pointer by Alexia Valencia, helped secure the win.
Valencia went on to score 13 points and added 4 rebounds. Hill-Massarotti had a season-high 6 steals while Emi Naruko contributed 4 points, 7 steals, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Rio Hondo will take some time off for the Thanksgiving break and will return to action on Dec. 4 when the Roadrunners travel to MiraCosta College for a 6 p.m. non-conference game.
