During his time at Chaffey, Siraaj was the Head Football and Baseball Athletic Trainer for the Panthers, who was trusted with providing professional medical service for all 14 CCCAA sports. Siraaj held a dual role of athletic trainer and adjunct faculty, where he taught multiple classes and professed the most salient concepts in the profession of athletic training. Siraaj designed emergency action plans for each athletic venue and implemented effective rehab protocols to return injured athletes to competitive play. Siraaj was responsible for supervising athletic training interns on proper taping techniques, modality implementation, musculoskeletal evaluations and the theory of manual therapy. Siraaj took the role of acting preceptor for the University of La Verne’s athletic training program and he re-established the Chaffey College athletic training program as the Interim Head Athletic Trainer. Most importantly, Siraaj played an intricate role in assisting a number of students in transferring to 4-year and Master level programs.

Prior to Chaffey College, Siraaj was the Head Athletic Trainer at Mission Viejo High School and the Seasonal Athletic Trainer for USA Volleyball during the 2016 summer Olympics in Brazil. Siraaj is a California Community College product himself, who received an athletic scholarship to Div. 2 Missouri Western State University, where he played football in the MIAA conference and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. At Missouri Western State, Siraaj made history by becoming the 1st Defensive MVP in school history during their first NCAA playoff visit. After MoWest, Siraaj returned to the California Community College level to learn techniques in the profession of Athletic Training.

Siraaj then went on to earn his Masters of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA. During his graduate program, he researched the effectiveness of the Mulligan Concept: Mobilization with Movement (MWM) on meniscal lesions in college athletes. Siraaj believes in the holistic approach of whole-patient care when interacting with athletes and patients, and he implements manual therapy techniques and psychosocial interventions into his clinical rehabilitation protocols when necessary.  Siraaj enjoys being in nature with his family and friends, traveling as often as possible and practicing peace on a daily basis. Siraaj resides in Pomona, CA with his loved ones.
